Often, when a person goes to the toilet in Uganda there is no water and soap around for hand washing. This leads to many cases of diarrhoea. Care for Uganda help in the construction of tippy taps which means that soap and water is available outside toilets in homes, schools and clinics.

This simple intervention is already having an impact with less people presenting at health centres with diarrhoea.
