An opportunity for individuals and groups to gain first hand experience of development work within a community of great need in Uganda, East Africa.

Teams of between 5 and 12 people working for SEVEN TO TEN DAYS can have a huge impact.

  • Bring encouragement and hope to the community

  • Bring encouragement and support to local, regional and national government

  • Bring encouragement to Buganda kingdom

  • Give support to schools

  • Give support to vocational institutions

  • Give support to health centre and hospitals

  • Monitor and expand existing development projects

  • Research possible future projects

Development Support Programmes offer a life changing experience through:

  • Involvement and interaction with a team

  • Increased awareness of everyday life in Uganda

Accommodation

The majority of the time will be spent at the Care for Uganda accommodation block in Bbowa. There are 5 en-suite rooms each sleeping up to three people. Rooms are basic but adequate. Mosquito nets are provided. Meals, cleaning and washing can be provided. Towels are provided. Any team members who want to help with the cooking will be welcome to do so.


Cost of Trip

£1250 per person.

This covers air fares, travel in Uganda and accommodation and meals in Uganda.
